City centre or right next to the airport?

For a 6 am flight, you want to be within 15 minutes of the terminal with a reception that can call a taxi at 3:30 am. Both the city centre and the Nea Alikarnassos district next to the airport qualify. The centre gives you dinner by the harbour and a walk round the old town; the airport district gives you ten more minutes of sleep and not much else. We pick the centre almost every time.
